According to the Hong Kong Information Centre for Human Rights & Democracy (15 Nov), a Hong Kong-based fax service which reports on dissidence, protests and human rights violations in China, a teacher named Li Qidong in Shenyang's Sujiatun Primary School has been detained for 10 days for writing a blog, condemning the public security organs for seeking fame and cheating, and not doing practical things for the people. The teacher has been charged for "fabricating stories and disrupting social order." Li plans to appeal to the local court against his detention.
