Chinese dissidents harassed, detained during Obama's visit

According to the Hong Kong Information Centre for Human Rights & Democracy (18 Nov), a Hong Kong-based fax service which reports on dissidence, protests and human rights violations in China, the family of noted PRC dissident Wang Dan has been harassed during President Obama's visit to China. At least 30 dissidents in the capital, including Bao Tong and Ding Zilin, are either under surveillance or being detained by public security organs. Public security officers have promised to send them home after Obama leaves China.
