Hong Kong-based fax agency Information Centre for Human Right and Democracy carried a report on 26 January 2013, which said that "several thousands of Shanghai residents gathered in a location in Jiading District where a police car crashed a motorcyclist to death at around 2100 Beijing Time on 25 January." The report said "no bloodshed happened" when those several thousand residents gathered at the traffic accident spot.
